Theresa holds an M.S. in Student Personnel Administration (SPA), from SUNY Buffalo
State and an M.B.A. from Morehead State University. In addition, she is a certified
entrepreneurship learning facilitator through, "The Entrepreneurship Learning Initiative
(ELI)," as of September 2024.

Theresa resides in Lockport, NY, a part of the Buffalo-Niagara Falls metropolitan area.
She loves spending time with her husband, two daughters, and four granddaughters.

Dr. Agnieszka (Agnes) Zak-Moskal, Ed.D. has served in higher education leadership roles at both small private and large public institutions, some of the titles include Interim Assistant Provost for Academic Success, Dean of Student Affairs, and Assistant Dean for Student Success and Advising. In addition to her leadership roles, she has conducted program evaluation for the Professional Association of

Georgia Educators (PAGE). Dr. Zak-Moskal has been involved in the U.S. Department of Education’s Title III Strengthening Institution Programs (SIP) in various capacities to include:  

 

  • Keuka College, Keuka, NY-External Evaluator, U.S. Department of Education Title III “Barrier Reduction to Accelerate Student Success”- $2.19 million (2021 – 2026)

  • U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Substance Abuse and Mental (SAMHSA) FLOURISH Network – The Mental Health Awareness Training Program” - $625,000 (2021 –2026)

  • Villa Maria College, Buffalo, NY, External Evaluator, U.S. Department of Education Title III Strengthening Institutions Program (SIP) Competition Grant: “Improving Retention Leading to Completion for Low-Income Students” - $1.8 million (2023-2028): Awarded, Grant Writer Contributor and Internal Steering Committee Member, U.S. Department of Education Title III Strengthening Institutions Program (SIP) Competition Grant: “Strengthening Services to Increase Retention and Persistence” - $1.8 million (2015-2020): Awarded

Dr. Zak-Moskal currently serves as Assistant Dean for Student Success and Advising at the
College of Arts and Sciences, University at Buffalo, a flagship institution of the State University of New York (SUNY). She holds an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership, from D’Youville University, M.A. in Organizational Psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University in New York, and B.A. in Psychology from Hunter College, City University of New York (CUNY).

 

She resides with her two daughters in Buffalo, NY.
